Please support GLBL Yoga today with our 3 for 3 challenge; contribute $3, invite 3 friends & take 3 breaths. Here’s how : http://www.indiegogo.com/glblyoga
GLBL YOGA builds unity and fosters community in cities around the world, tapping the collective energy and human spirit of the urban environment to create large-scale, crowd-funded yoga events.
On August 16, 2012, GLBL YOGA kicks-off, NYC-style. We’re going to turn Central Park’s Great Lawn into the world’s largest yoga studio. Tens of thousands of New Yorkers united by the practice of yoga, led by world-renowned teachers Elena Brower, Seane Corn, Colleen Saidman and Rodney Yee. Live soundtrack laid down by Questlove, DJ Drez and other top artists. And the incomparable Reggie Watts rockin’ it as host and MC.
It’s going to be an energizing and inclusive day of unity and joy, and the resounding opening statement for a global movement that’s truly of, by and for the people. General admission to GLBL YOGA: NYC is free, but tickets will be required. Sign up below for email updates and stay tuned for more info on how to register for the free general admission ticket lottery. Also, please visit GLBL YOGA on Indiegogo. Your voluntary support will help bring GLBL YOGA: NYC to life and make history as the world’s largest-ever crowd funded event.
Because giving back to the community is among our core beliefs, GLBL YOGA supports several remarkable charity partners: Off the Mat Into the World, Lineage Project, Harlem Grown, Urban Zen, and Enterprise Community Partners. If we reach our fundraising goal of $675,000, GLBL YOGA will donate $100,000 to these partners, distributed equally. In addition, GLBL YOGA will donate 50% of any funds raised over the goal, and 50% of any net proceeds from other sources (e.g., sponsorships, merchandise). Please help us to help them.
Until we meet on the Great Lawn in August – namaste.
